History

Costaripa is the reference name for the pale rosé of Lake Garda. The Vezzola family bought its first vineyards at Moniga del Garda in 1936 and made a Chiaretto di Moniga as early as 1938, staking the estate on rosé long before it was fashionable. Under the acclaimed winemaker Mattia Vezzola it has become the benchmark for Valtènesi Chiaretto within the Riviera del Garda Classico, alongside a fine traditional-method sparkling.
