History
The Ruffino family has tended vineyards above Varigotti, on the Ligurian coast, for over five hundred years, building and maintaining their steep stone terraces by hand. Punta Crena is a guardian of rare local grapes, keeping the nearly vanished Mataòssu alongside Pigato, Vermentino and Rossese; today it is run by four Ruffino siblings, with Tommaso as winemaker.
