History
Gotto d'Oro grew from a cooperative of 41 Marino winemakers formed in 1945; its modern Frattocchie cellar opened in 1973.
The dominant name of Marino DOC and a major Castelli Romani producer, it pools some 1,000 hectares of member vines for around 5 million bottles a year.
