Silvano Gallo founded Masut da Rive at Mariano del Friuli, taking the name that identified his family line to distinguish it; his sons Fabrizio and Marco run it now, the fourth generation.
From about twenty-eight hectares on the Isonzo they make the Friuli Isonzo whites, such as the Chardonnay and Friulano.
