Folicello

History

Folicello was founded in 1980 by Marco and Antonella at Manzolino di Castelfranco Emilia, in the province of Modena, when they converted the family's vegetable and fish farm to artisanal winegrowing.

For about twenty years they have made natural wines without added sulphites, from roughly 10-12 hectares worked organically and biodynamically, in a cellar that is energy self-sufficient from solar power.

The range centres on the local Lambruschi - Grasparossa di Castelvetro and di Sorbara - alongside Pignoletto, Malbo Gentile, Trebbiano and Montuni.
