History
The Cantina di Carpi was founded in 1903 as a pioneer of cooperation, and Sorbara in 1923; the two merged in 2012 into the Cantina di Carpi e Sorbara.
Its twelve hundred members bring grapes from over two thousand hectares to six sites, making the Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco di Sorbara of the Modena plain.
