History

Fontanavecchia is the standard-bearer of the Sannio in inland Campania. The Rillo family has made wine at Torrecuso, on the slopes of Mount Taburno, since 1865, but it was Orazio Rillo who first bottled in 1990, and his son Libero who made the estate a reference for the area's two great grapes: the firm, structured Aglianico del Taburno and the fragrant Falanghina del Sannio.
