History
Contrade di Taurasi was founded in 1998 by Sandro Lonardo, a retired professor of Latin literature whose family had been Taurasi landowners since the late 18th century. From five hectares of Aglianico, and from 2007 in two crus, Vigne d'Alto and Coste, the estate makes some of the most traditional and admired Taurasi in Irpinia.
