Piccola Pesca di Porto Cesareo
Porto Cesareo Small-Scale Fishing

The protected area runs over more than 16,000 hectares along 32 kilometres of coast, taking in Porto Cesareo and Nardò and reaching west into the Gulf of Taranto. Some 250 small artisanal boats work out of Porto Cesareo, which matters to the local economy; the Salento fills with visitors every year and the fishermen have stayed with the fishing.
