A tart, citrusy white of the Prosecco hills, used in blends and on its own.

One of the eight complementary varieties permitted (alone or jointly, up to 15%) in Prosecco DOC's "Prosecco", "Prosecco spumante", and "Prosecco frizzante" typologies (Art. 2.1) — though not admitted in the spumante rosé typology.
