Bombino Bianco
Also known as Pagadebit.
Bombino Bianco is a white wine grape widely grown in Puglia and along the central Adriatic coast of Italy. Vigorous and productive, it earned the nickname 'Pagadebit' ('debt-payer') elsewhere for its reliable, generous crops. In Puglia it is a workhorse white, both as a varietal and as a component of many regional bianco blends.
Bombino Bianco gives light-bodied, fresh dry whites of pale straw color with a fairly neutral, citrus-and-green-apple character and crisp acidity, well suited to easy-drinking and sparkling styles.
