History
The cooperative was founded on 5 June 1904 when 13 local grower-members signed its founding charter in Mezzocorona, at the heart of the Piana Rotaliana.
It has grown into the Gruppo Mezzacorona, today counting around 1,600 member families across roughly 2,800 hectares; the group also owns the Trento DOC sparkling wine house Cantine Rotari.
