History
Cantine La Vite was founded in 1970 when 43 growers in Riesi joined together to form a cooperative winery, headquartered at Contrada Le Schette.
The cooperative has grown into one of the more productive wineries of the Riesi DOC zone, drawing fruit from member vineyards across Riesi, Butera and Mazzarino in Caltanissetta province.
