History
The Dettori family has worked the Romangia hills near Sennori since the 1800s, selling wine in bulk until Paolo Dettori bottled part of the production in 1981; the modern estate was formally launched in 1996. Alessandro Dettori, who joined his father around 1990, made Tenute Dettori one of Italy's most uncompromising natural estates, vinifying ancient local clones biodynamically in cement with no additives, fining or filtration.
