History
The Minuto family has owned the Moccagatta farmhouse near Barbaresco since the mid-1800s, and Mario Minuto first put the Moccagatta name on a label in 1952. His sons Franco and Sergio modernised the estate in the 1970s, adopting barrique ageing; their children Stefano and Martina continue, making cru Barbaresco from Basarin, Cole and Bric Balin.
