History

Il Colle Tinto was formally established as a winery in 2017 in Castropignano, though the family traces its agricultural roots back to the early 1900s.

The estate was built around the recovery of Tintilia, Molise's native red grape, which had nearly disappeared in favor of higher-yielding varieties, and today bottles Tintilia del Molise DOC in red and rosato styles alongside a Malvasia del Molise DOC white.
