Spensierata

History

Spensierata was founded in 2003 by Cristian Zaninelli and his wife Sara in the countryside of Monterotondo, growing out of a family farm that began with organic vegetables and fruit before expanding into Franciacorta winegrowing.

The estate began converting its vineyards to organic farming in 2014 and achieved certification in 2017, sourcing fruit from parcels spread across seven distinct Franciacorta municipalities.
