History
Mosnel is one of Franciacorta's historic family estates, with cellars dating to the sixteenth century and the Barboglio family in residence since 1836. Emanuela Barboglio, remembered as the 'mother of Franciacorta' and a founder of its consortium, planted the first specialised vineyards and adopted the appellation early. Farming organically, the estate makes elegant Franciacorta, above all the Chardonnay cuvée EBB named in her honour.
