History
Ferghettina is one of Franciacorta's leading modern producers. Roberto Gatti, formerly a vineyard manager at Ca' del Bosco, founded it in 1991 and made his first Franciacorta the next year. The estate is known for its distinctive square-based, pyramid-sided bottle, designed to increase the wine's contact with the lees, used for cuvées like the Satèn and the vintage Milledì.
