History
Barone Pizzini is one of the founding houses of Franciacorta and its organic pioneer. Dating to 1870, the estate converted to certified organic viticulture from 1998 and in 2005 released the first Franciacorta from certified organic grapes. Its Animante and the vintage Bagnadore are references for a fresh, terroir-driven, sustainable style of the appellation.
