History

Antica Tenuta Palombo was founded in 1980 by Giovanni Palombo at Atina, in the Val di Comino of Ciociaria, reviving a Bordeaux-variety tradition brought there by the agronomist Pasquale Visocchi in 1850.

Palombo was instrumental in gaining the Atina DOC in 1999, and its Atina Cabernet, including the Riserva 'Duca Cantelmo', is the denomination's flagship.
