History
Marta Valpiani and her husband founded the estate at Castrocaro Terme in 1999; their daughter Elisa Mazzavillani has run it since 2009 and converted it to biodynamics.
It makes about 30,000 bottles of Albana and Sangiovese from the steep slopes above the clay calanchi.
