History
Ca' Berti traces to 1860, when Faustino Vandelli began the family's winegrowing activity at Levizzano Rangone in the comune of Castelvetro, historically the heartland of Lambrusco Grasparossa.
The estate is now run by fifth-generation Veronica Vandelli, who has kept a low-yield, minimal-intervention approach to preserve the character of Grasparossa; the family also runs an on-site agriturismo restaurant.
