History

Andrea Granito, a physician, bought land in the village of Liberi in 2003 and planted the ancient native varieties Pallagrello and Casavecchia; the winery itself was formally established in 2011.

Sclavia farms organically on roughly 20 hectares at the foot of the Caserta hills, producing Casavecchia and Pallagrello-based wines that helped revive interest in Terra di Lavoro's rediscovered native grapes.
