History
The Zagarella family has farmed land facing the Strait of Messina since the 1800s; the winery itself was formally established in 1977 to focus on quality wine production.
The estate uses the Ganimede system, a gentle, mechanical-free grape-treatment method, to produce its Terragrande and Alfieri line of Calabria IGT reds, rosés and whites.
