History
The Sorricchio di Valforte family have held their estate at Colonnella, in the far north of Abruzzo, since the fourteenth century.
From about fifty-two hectares of vineyard they make the Controguerra and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, along with the Cerasuolo and native whites.
