Piedmontese Heirloom Apple Varieties
Eight old Piedmontese apples: Grigia di Torriana, Buràs, Runsé, Gamba Fina, Magnana, Dominici, Carla and Calvilla. All but the Carla keep well and gain flavour and aroma in store; the Grigia di Torriana and the Buràs are particularly good baked.
