Piattella Canavesana di Cortereggio
Cortereggio Canavese Piattella Bean
A white, flat, kidney-shaped bean from the wetland by the Orco at Cortereggio. Little calcium in that soil leaves the skin very thin. The Piattella was once real income for local families, who sold to buyers from further afield.
