An Italian crossing of Riesling and Pinot Blanc, giving aromatic, structured whites.
Officially "Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13" (Riesling Renano × Pinot Bianco), bred after the Second World War by Prof. Luigi Manzoni at the Scuola di Viticoltura ed Enologia di Conegliano. Registered in the National Vine Variety Register as MASAF scheda 299, "Manzoni Bianco B.", with "Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13" recognized as its official synonym and permitted on labels in place of the varietal name (e.g. Piave DOC, Art. 7.3).
