Also known as Malvasia di Bosa, Malvasia di Cagliari.

Malvasia di Sardegna is the Sardinian member of the broad Malvasia family, grown especially in the Planargia around Bosa (Malvasia di Bosa) and in the south (Malvasia di Cagliari). It is prized for distinctive flor-influenced, oxidative sweet and dry whites.

It gives golden, nutty, aromatic wines of almond, dried apricot and honey, often aged under a veil of flor yeast in the Bosa tradition, in styles from dry-savoury to sweet and liquoroso.
