Malvasia di Candia Aromatica

A white, aromatic grape that — jointly with Malvasia Moscata, together at least 85% — forms the ampelographic base of Pinerolese DOC's "Malvasia" typology, introduced by the 2024 disciplinare update (DM 19.04.2024). Also referenced (unrelated context) in Vernaccia di San Gimignano's disciplinare in Tuscany. Not a synonym of the other Piedmont Malvasia varieties (di Casorzo, di Schierano, Nera Lunga, Moscata) despite the shared family name — each is its own registered variety.
