Art. 3: a large southern-Sardinia zone (the historic Cagliari-area varietal DOCs share this envelope), listing whole comuni across the former provinces of Cagliari, Carbonia-Iglesias/Medio Campidano (now Sud Sardegna) and Oristano. Geometry = comune-union of the enumerated comuni (openpolis WGS84), the southern portion of the island. (~179 comuni, 924.687 ha).
