History

Villa Sandi's wine story began in the early 1920s, when Mario Polegato - grandfather of today's president - bought his first vineyards north of Treviso.

Its headquarters is the Villa Sandi itself, a Palladian-style residence dating to 1622 at Crocetta del Montello, sheltering one of the Veneto's most storied cellars.

Across four generations the Moretti Polegato family, now led by Giancarlo Moretti Polegato, has grown it into one of the leading names in Prosecco, with five estates spread across three denominations.
