History
Valentina Cubi and her husband Giancarlo invested their savings in Fumane around 1969-70, buying seven of the estate's current ten hectares in cru sites such as Monte Tenda, Monte Crosetta and Rasso.
From 2006 they progressively converted to organic farming, making their first organic Amarone in 2010 and gaining full certification in 2014.
The estate's flagship Amarone, Morar — dialect for the mulberry trees that once supported Valpolicella's vines — is made in the ancient village of Casterna, in the Fumane valley of Valpolicella Classica.
