History
Roeno was founded over half a century ago by Rolando Fugatti and his wife Giuliana dal Fior at Belluno Veronese, in the Valdadige — the narrow Adige valley of the Terradeiforti, on the border of Verona and Trentino.
The name combines 'Ro', for Rolando, and 'enos', the Greek word for wine.
Now in its third generation, with Giuseppe, Cristina and Roberta Fugatti, Roeno is known above all for the deep-red Enantio, an ancient Adige-valley grape, including the Enantio Riserva 1865 Prefillossera.
