History
Roccolo Grassi grew out of the Sartori family's vineyards in the Val di Mezzane, worked from the 1970s by Bruno Sartori, and was relaunched as an estate winery in 1996.
Since 2003 it has been run by Bruno's children, the oenologist Marco and his sister Francesca Sartori, who quickly won a reputation for precise, elegant Amarone.
The estate farms about 14 hectares — roughly 12 in the Valpolicella and 2 in Soave — producing around 49,000 bottles a year of Amarone, Valpolicella Superiore and Soave.
