History
Le Morette began in 1960 at San Benedetto di Lugana, where Gino Zenato started a nursery for the propagation of vines — pioneering work in Italy at the time — and backed it with his own winemaking as a test bed.
His son Valerio focused the estate on high-quality, recognisable wines, and the third generation, Fabio and Paolo Zenato, continue the family tradition.
With plots around Peschiera, Desenzano and Pozzolengo, Le Morette is one of the historic estates of the Lugana DOC, in the territory for over sixty years.
