History

Le Battistelle is a small estate of the Dal Bosco family at Brognoligo, in the heart of the Soave Classico hills across the communes of Soave and Monteforte d'Alpone. The family's roots there are documented back to 1644.

The winery was founded in 2002, when the family — Gelmino and Cristina Dal Bosco — decided to vinify their own grapes rather than deliver them to the local cooperative.

Now working with their children Andrea and Gloria, they farm about 14 hectares of small volcanic-soil vineyards, making structured, mineral Garganega Soave.
