History

The Fattori family has made wine on the volcanic hills of Terrossa di Roncà, east of Soave, since the early 1900s; grandfather Antonio, born in 1888, returned from the Great War to find his vines destroyed by phylloxera and replanted.

Antonio Fattori and his brother Giovanni took over the family business in the early 1970s, and in the early 1990s Antonio began bottling under his own label and building an international market, becoming known for benchmark Soave.

In 2007 the family bought 30 hectares in the Valpolicella at Montecchia di Crosara to make Amarone; several vineyards are farmed organically.
