History
Col Tamarie sits in a tiny, isolated hamlet in the hills above Vittorio Veneto at around 450 metres, where Alberto dalle Crode founded the estate in the early 2000s.
He replanted about 4.5 hectares to the varieties historically grown here - Glera, Boschera, Verdiso, Perera, Bianchetta, Grappariol, Malvasia Istriana and Pinot Grigio - and from the first 2013 vintage, with Marta de Luca, works the vines by homeopathic, life-force methods.
Its wine is a bottle-refermented natural sparkling white from these native grapes; because the blend falls outside the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco rules, it is made as a natural frizzante rather than a classified Prosecco.
