History

The Cantina Sociale Valpolicella was founded at Arbizzano di Negrar in 1933 by a group of growers including a Serego Alighieri and a Rizzardi.

Its more than two hundred and thirty members work about seven hundred hectares of Valpolicella Classica, and from 1989 the Domini Veneti project selects the best sites for its top Amarone and Valpolicella.
