History

The Merlara cooperative winery was founded in the 1950s in the flat country between Padova and Verona, and its growth led to the creation of the Merlara denomination.

Drawing on some 800 hectares of member vines, it is the keeper of the little-known Merlara DOC, built on Malvasia and Marzemino.
