History
Balestri Valda is the Rizzotto family's estate in the Soave Classico hills. Guido Rizzotto began estate-bottling in 1994, after buying the vineyards from Valda Balestri, whose name the winery carries.
His daughter Laura joined in 2016 and began converting the vineyards to organic, chemical-free farming.
The estate's Garganega vines lie on dark volcanic hillsides in the heart of Soave Classico, and it farms both vines and olive groves organically.
