History

La Cantina di Cunéaz is a tiny winery established in 2009 in Gressan, on the outskirts of Aosta, run out of a room in the Cuneaz family house that holds just a few small tanks and a couple of barrels.

Though the estate's reds and whites (Badebec, Magdala, Grandgosier, Pantagruel, Chanté and the passito Gargamelle) qualify for the Torrette DOC, the family chooses to bottle under the broader Valle d'Aosta designation, reflecting a belief that the narrower appellation no longer guarantees quality on its own.
