History
Ezio Voyat worked as an accountant for a casino but built his reputation making some of Italy's most distinctive mountain wines from a modest house and cellar in Chambave, within walking distance of his hillside vineyards.
He was one of the main protagonists in popularizing wine from Chambave, known especially for his moscato bottlings (the dry La Gazzella and the sweet Ambrato) and the red blend Le Muraglie. After his death in 2003, his daughter Marilena took over the estate and continues to farm the old vines and make the wines that built the family's reputation.
