History
Cantina Fratelli Pardi was founded in 1919 by brothers Alfredo, Francesco and Alberto Pardi, on the ground floor of the San Marco hospital in Montefalco, with Sagrantino (then only passito) sold across Umbria and even to the Vatican.
The founders' sons closed the winery and in 1949 set up the Tessitura Pardi weaving mill.
In 2002-2003 the great-grandsons Francesco, Gianluca Rio and Alberto Mario revived the winery in Montefalco.
