History

Milanese lawyer Paolo Nodari began acquiring land here in 1994 around the fortified Castelluccio Amerino, in the valley long known as the 'Valley of the Queens' between Narni and Amelia, formally founding the agricultural company Castello delle Regine in 2000.

The roughly 400-hectare estate revived a vine and olive-growing vocation on land that had passed through patrician families since the 1500s, restoring vineyards studied and replanted for their clay-sandy hillside soils.
