History
Founded in 1919 by brothers Alfredo, Francesco and Alberto Pardi, the winery won a silver medal for its red table wines in 1925.
After the family paused winemaking to focus on the Pardi weaving mill, Rio Pardi kept making small quantities of Sagrantino Passito at home.
In 2002 the founders' great-grandsons Francesco, Gianluca and Alberto Mario restored the Montefalco building and revived the winery.
