History

Griesbauerhof sits on the St. Magdalena hillside overlooking Bolzano, where the Mumelter family has farmed grapes and apples on the same holding since 1785.

Lukas Mumelter is now the seventh generation to run the farm, growing the autochthonous varieties Schiava and Lagrein and favoring sustainable, minimal-intervention winemaking on a modest, medium-sized scale.
