History
The Scienza family has worked this southern-Trentino corridor since the 1960s and founded Azienda Agricola Vallarom in 1972 at Avio.
The estate turned to organic farming in the early 1990s, dropping chemical pesticides in 1999 and using only copper and sulfur since 2004, with ICEA certification.
Third-generation Filippo Scienza runs the estate today, its Marzemino a reference for the type.
